The Ergodyne 19809 Squids 3109F(x) Double Locking Single Carabiner Tool Lanyard with Swivel keeps hand tools tethered when you are working above others. One end is an anodised aluminium alloy swivelling carabiner with a double action locking gate and inherent captive eye, the other is a treaded loop that grips the tool it is attached to. Third party certified to a 25lbs (11.3kg) maximum capacity with a 2:1 safety factor.
The 1680 denier polyester elastic blended webbing stretches from 38-48in (96-122cm), so it stays out of the way until a tool drops. Shock absorbing properties cut the dynamic force felt at the anchor point or on your body. Single length construction avoids the weak points of multi-component lanyards, and 3-ply nylon stitching holds the connecting ends. The carabiner is shaped for gloved hands. Certified to ANSI/ISEA 121.
