The Ergodyne 19802 Squids 3100F(x) Tool Lanyard with Single Carabiner tethers hand tools at height so nothing goes over the edge. A carabiner sits on one end and a treaded loop on the other, and that loop grips the tool once it is cinched on. The elastic blended 1680 denier polyester webbing extends from 38-48in (96-122cm), so it stays out of your way until you reach.
Shock absorbing construction takes the sting out of a drop, cutting the dynamic force passed back to your body or the anchor point. It is third party certified to a 10lbs (4.5kg) maximum capacity with a 2:1 safety factor, and built to ANSI/ISEA 121. The carabiner is anodised aluminium alloy with a captive eye, ends are locked in with 3-ply nylon stitching, and the single length build avoids the weak points of multi-component lanyards.
