About this product
The Ergodyne 19755 Squids 3755 Self-Adhering Tape Trap is a wrap-on tape used to build a tether attachment point on hand tools working at height. It runs 3.7m long and 2.5cm wide, so there is enough on hand to build up several tool tails. Fibre glass reinforcement through the tape keeps the wrap from tearing once it is loaded, and it also adds grip to a tool handle.
Maximum safe working capacity is 15lbs, or 6.8kg, depending on the length, tool, tail and lanyard used. No heat source is needed, you just stretch and wrap it onto itself. There are no adhesives in it either, so it peels off clean when a tool comes out of service or needs re-taping. Conforms to ANSI/ISEA 121.
