The Ergodyne Squids 3148 Tool Lanyard ties off heavy tools to a fixed structure so they cannot drop on the crew below. One end carries an extra-large aluminium heavy-duty double locking carabiner that will go around big drills, heavy crowbars or a handrail. The other end is a treaded loop with gripping material, so it holds firm on large tools or on the structure you are working from. Lanyard length is 93cm.
Rated to a 36kg maximum working capacity with a 2:1 safety factor, third-party certified to ANSI/ISEA 121. It is built as a single length rather than joined components, which takes out the weak points you get with multi-piece lanyards. The webbing is non shock absorbing and the nylon stitching is heavy gauge, so it stands up to rough site work. Anchor it to the structure, not to yourself.
