About this product
The Ergodyne 19131 Squids 3130M Coiled Cable Lanyard is a retractable tool tether that stops hand tools hitting the deck when you're working at height. The coil keeps the cord in close to the anchor point, so you get far less snagging and tangling than a straight lanyard. A patented lightweight aluminium carabiner with a double action self-locking gate connects to tools up to 5lbs / 2.26kg.
Inside the ABS plastic housing sits a cut-resistant Dyneema cord with a protected weave built for rough work. The slot on the back mounts to belts or fall protection harnesses up to 2in / 5cm wide and .38in / 1cm thick. Hit the trigger switch and the cord locks at a fixed length to take the tension out. If forces exceed 110lbs / 50kg, a red cord shows, telling you a drop has happened. ANSI/ISEA 121.
