Donaghys Winchline Rope 44mm is a synthetic UHMwPE braid built for heavy vehicle recovery, towing and winching work where steel wire rope gets unmanageable. At 44mm diameter it sits at the heavy end of the range, so it suits big recovery rigs, logging and serious pulling lines. The fibre runs up to 15 times the tenacity of steel rope, with elongation of 4% at break, so there is very little stretch and far less stored energy than wire.

It is 8 times lighter and 70% stronger than steel wire rope, which matters when a rope this size has to be dragged out and re-spooled by hand. The Armorcoat finish gives high internal and external abrasion resistance, and the rope floats, shrugs off water and holds up under UV. Non rotational construction keeps the line behaving under load, and the pink colour makes it easy to spot on the ground. Covers and fittings can be added to suit the job.
