Donaghys Winchline Rope 18mm is a synthetic winchline built for recovery work, towing and pulling lines where steel wire rope is heavier than it needs to be. The 18mm diameter sits in the heavier end of the range, giving you more hand for gripping and spooling while staying easy to throw over a shoulder. It is braided from UHMwPE fibre, which runs 70% stronger than steel wire rope at eight times lighter, with elongation of only 4% at break and tenacity up to 15 times that of steel.

The Armorcoat treatment handles abrasion inside and out, and the rope is non rotational so it will not spin a load under tension. It floats, does not soak up water and holds up well under UV, which suits vehicle rescue, logging and stringing jobs. The pink colour makes it easy to pick out on site. Covers and fittings can be added to suit the application.
