The Donaghys Winchline Rope 14mm is a synthetic winch and recovery line built from UHMwPE fibre, made to replace steel wire rope on winch drums. At 14mm it sits in the mid range of the eight diameters offered, a handy size for vehicle recovery drums, towing and pulling or stringing work where a heavier rope gets awkward to spool by hand.

The fibre carries a tenacity up to 15 times that of steel rope, and the finished line is 8 times lighter and 70% stronger than steel wire rope, with very low elongation of 4% at break. It does not absorb water and floats, so it stays manageable in mud and creek crossings. The Armorcoat treatment handles internal and external abrasion, UV resistance is high, and the pink colour keeps it visible. Non rotational, so no kinks or spin under load. Covers and fittings can be added to suit the job.
