About this product
The Donaghys Winchline Rope 12mm is a synthetic winch line built from ultra high molecular weight polyethylene fibres, made for vehicle recovery, towing and pulling or stringing jobs. At 12mm it sits in the lighter end of the range, handy where you want a line you can pull out and re-spool by hand without wrestling it. The UHMwPE fibre runs 8 times lighter and 70% stronger than steel wire rope, with tenacity up to 15 times that of steel and low elongation of 4% at break.
The braid is coated with Donaghys Armorcoat, so it stands up to abrasion inside and out. It floats, does not absorb water and holds up well under UV. The build is non rotational, and the pink colour makes the line easy to spot on the ground or in the bush. Covers and fittings can be added to suit the application.
