About this product
Donaghys Winchline Rope 9mm is a synthetic winch and recovery line built from UHMwPE fibre, sized for lighter vehicle recovery work and pulling jobs where a thinner, easier handling line makes sense. The fibre carries a tenacity of up to 15 times that of steel rope, with elongation of 4% at break, so there is very little stretch under load. Compared to steel wire rope it runs 8 times lighter and 70% stronger.
The braid is coated in Donaghys Armorcoat for high internal and external abrasion resistance, and it is non-rotational in use. It floats, does not absorb water and holds up well to UV, which suits it to 4WD recovery, logging, towing and stringing lines. The pink colour makes it easy to pick out on the ground. Covers and fittings can be added to suit the application.
