The Mongoose Heavy Duty Strop 70t x 15m is a synthetic tow rope for recovering bogged or stranded machinery and vehicles. The 70t break load sits at the heavier end of the range, and the 15m rope length gives you room to keep the recovery vehicle well clear of soft ground or a drop off. It is built from 12 strand UHMwPE, so the strength to weight ratio is high and two people can handle it without a hoist.

Each end has a 200mm soft eye splice with heavy protection, and the whole rope runs inside a tight HT polyester cover to take the abrasion. Elongation is low, which means minimal recoil and kinetic energy if it does let go. The pink colour keeps it visible on site, and durable ID tags give you traceability back to the tonnage rating it is certified to.
