The Mongoose Heavy Duty Strop 100t x 15m is a 12 strand UHMwPE tow rope built for recovering bogged or broken down gear, from 4x4s through to heavy industrial vehicles. At 100t break load it sits at the heavy end of the Mongoose range, and the 15m rope length gives you room to keep the recovery vehicle well clear of the load. Each end has a 200mm soft eye splice under heavy protection, with a tight HT polyester cover over the length of the rope.

Ultra high molecular weight polyethylene gives a very high strength to weight ratio, so a rope this size stays light enough to drag out and rig by hand. Elongation is low, which means minimal recoil and kinetic energy if something lets go. The pink colour keeps it visible on site, and durable ID tags let you trace the strop back to its tonnage rating. It handles wear and flex fatigue well, so repeat recoveries do not chew it out.
