About this product
The Contego Roxby Impact Plus Mechanic Glove in red, size extra large, is a back of hand impact glove for crews working around heavy gear and power tools. The extra large fit suits bigger hands, so you get the TPR sitting where it should rather than shifting under load. There is 8mm thick TPR across the knuckles and back of hand, with 5mm on the fingertips to take the knocks that come with spanner work in tight spots.
Underneath the armour is a C5 HPPE liner and an ultra grip palm, with thumb crotch reinforcement on the spot that wears out first. Stretch spandex through the body keeps it breathable and close fitting. The neoprene cuff holds snug but pulls off easily, and the pull tab and ID badge make donning quick. Rated to CE Cat II and EN388:2003 3121. Suits construction, mining, carpentry, oil and gas, towing and transportation, landscaping and heavy equipment operation.
