About this product
The Beaver BV100 G100 Connector Link 8mm joins 8mm Grade 100 chain to master links, hooks and other components in a lifting assembly. It carries a working load limit of 2.5t, the smallest of the four sizes in the BV100 range, so it suits lighter chain slings where you still want Grade 100 capacity. Two die-forged symmetrical halves close over a heavy duty stud and pin, and the link can be pulled apart again when you need to rebuild or repair a sling.
Made from heat treated alloy steel, which gives it good wear resistance and keeps the weight down at roughly 0.18kg. Overall length is 84mm with a 63mm inside dimension, an 18.5mm outer width and a 10mm opening at H. Grade 100 gives 25% more load capacity than Grade 80 at a 30% weight saving. Complies to AS 3776, and each link carries identification markings.
