About this product
The Contego Cut 2 Impact Hi-Vis Glove in Extra Large is an impact glove for rigging, construction and mine site work where hands get knocked around. This size suits bigger hands, and the four way stretch spandex back keeps the fit close so you still have full movement. Raised TPR sits across the knuckles and fingers to take the hits, scrapes and pinches. The 0.8 mm breathable synthetic leather palm is backed with neoprene padding to cut vibration from power tools.
Silicon grip on the palm holds up in wet and dry conditions. Perforated forchettes let air move through the fingers on hot days, and the neoprene cuff with a grip tab closure keeps dirt out. The orange and yellow colour with hi-vis piping helps you stay seen in daylight and low light. There is an ID tag so gloves do not go walkabout on site.
Common questions
- what cut level is the contego impact glove
- It offers cut level 2 protection through the palm. That is a general handling level, not a heavy cut protection glove.
- are contego cut 2 impact gloves good for vibrating tools
- Yes, the palm has neoprene padding behind the 0.8 mm synthetic leather to reduce vibration and add comfort on power tools.
- what size is extra large contego glove suited to
- Extra Large is the larger end of the four size range. The four way stretch spandex back means it still sits close on the hand without bagging.
