The Beaver BV100 G100 Lifting Chain 16mm is grade 100 alloy steel chain for building chain slings and overhead lifting assemblies. This is the heavy end of the range, with a 10t working load limit on a single leg and a 16.2mm material size, so it suits the bigger lifts where a smaller chain runs out of capacity. Pitch is 48mm, outside width 55.5mm, and it runs at 20m per 100kg.
Made from hardened and heat-treated alloy steel with a blue painted electrophoresis finish, it holds up well against wear and is self-lubricating, so no oiling is needed. Grade 100 carries 25% more load than grade 80 at the same size, with a 30% weight saving. Suits single, two, three and four leg sling configurations. Complies to AS 2321.
