About this product
The Beaver BV100 G100 Lifting Chain 10mm is grade 100 alloy steel chain for building overhead lifting slings, rated to a 4t working load limit on a single leg. It is made from hardened and heat-treated alloy steel with a blue painted finish, and the material weight works out at 50m/100kg. Pitch measures 30mm, outside width 34.5mm, with a measured bar of 10.2mm.
Grade 100 gives 25% higher load capacity than grade 80 at the same size, plus a 30% weight saving, so a 10mm chain does the work of heavier gear. The heat treatment helps it stand up to wear, and the electrophoresis surface treatment is self-lubricating, so no oiling is needed down the track. Suits single, 2, 3 and 4 leg sling assemblies. Complies to AS 2321.
