About this product
The Beaver G80 Component Connector 6mm is a two-part coupler for joining 6mm Grade 80 chain to hooks, links and slings. It is the smallest size in the range, rated to a 1100kg working load limit, and at roughly 0.08kg it adds almost nothing to the weight of a light chain sling. Two symmetrical die-forged halves close around the chain and lock together with a heavy duty stud and pin.
Built from heat treated alloy steel, with a 7mm body thickness, 46mm across and 44mm long, it handles repeat assembly work without becoming a fiddle. The pin and stud can be knocked out when you need to change a component, and a replacement kit is available under 894206BA. Beaver Grade 80 components carry identification marks, and this connector complies to AS 3776.
