About this product
The Beaver G80 Component Connector 26mm joins Grade 80 chain to hooks, links and other components on heavy lifting jobs. At 26mm chain size it carries a working load limit of 21,200kg, putting it near the top of the range for the big gear on mine sites and heavy crane work. Two symmetrical die-forged halves close around the chain and lock together with a heavy duty stud and pin, so you can pull it apart again when a sling needs reconfiguring.
Made from heat treated alloy steel and weighing about 4.50kg, it stays manageable for the load it handles. Body dimensions run 174mm long and 158mm inside, with 31mm and 30mm sections and a 58mm gap across a 44mm width. Grade 80 identification marks are forged in for inspection. Complies to AS 3776. If the pin or stud ever needs replacing, the kit is part number 894226BA.
