The Rope Grab B-Safe Non-Openable Static Suit Kermantale Alloy Steel Dichromate Gold 13mm is a manual fall arrest grab that runs along a 13mm static rope and locks off under load. It is a non-openable design, so it stays captive on the line and cannot be fitted mid rope. That suits fixed static line setups where the rope is terminated and left in place.
Body and cam are alloy steel with a dichromate gold finish, and the grab carries a capacity of 15kN. The 13mm sizing matches Kermantale static rope, so check your rope diameter before ordering. Being manual, you move it up or down the line by hand, then let it grip when you stop. Look over the cam teeth, pivot and attachment hole before every use and pull it out of service if anything is worn, cracked or deformed.
