About this product
The Aluminium Scaffold Hooks With 16Kn Gate is a large-opening double action hook for clipping a lanyard or fall arrest line straight onto scaffold tube, beams and other structural steel. The 63.5mm gate opening means you can hook onto sections a standard karabiner will not reach around, and the double action gate needs two deliberate movements before it opens, so it stays shut when it is knocked about.
Body is aluminium with a steel gate, keeping the weight off a rigger's harness while the wear point stays hard. Rated at 23kN and made to EN 362 and ANSI Z359.12. Suits scaffolders, riggers and crews working at height on site or on a mine shutdown. Check the gate springs closed and locks on its own before each shift, and look over the body for gouges or bending.
