About this product
The Snap Hook Dble S/L Ubs 22Kn With 16Kn Gate is a double action steel connector for hooking a harness, lanyard or fall arrest line onto an anchor point. The double action gate needs two deliberate movements to open, so it will not roll open against a beam or rub itself free while you work. Rated to 23kN with a 21mm opening, it takes standard anchor points, D rings and eye fittings without a fight.
Steel construction handles the knocks that come with site and mine work, where an alloy hook can get chewed up quickly. It is made to EN 362 and ANSI Z359.12. Check the gate and locking sleeve snap shut cleanly before every use, and pull any hook from service if the body is gouged, cracked or deformed.
