About this product
The Karabiner Steel D Triple Lock is a connector for height safety work, joining lanyards, harnesses and anchorage points where you want a gate that will not open by accident. The twist lock action and captive pin keep the karabiner where you put it, so it stays oriented along the spine under load. Minimum breaking strength is 40kN, with a 16kN gate rating and a 22mm gate opening.
Body is alloy steel, galvanised with a golden yellow finish and polished, measuring 69.9mm wide by 120.3mm high. That size gives you enough room for gloved hands while still sitting neatly on a harness D ring. It conforms to EN 795 Type B. Check the gate and lock cycle freely before each use, and look over the body for wear, cracks or deep gouges.
