The Safety Line-20Mtrs X 11mm Kermantle Rope is a vertical rope safety kit that gives a worker an attachment point overhead before they start climbing. The line is rigged from above the work area, so there is somewhere to clip on straight away. A steel double action hook is spliced into one end for connecting to the anchor point.
The kit includes a manual rope grab that acts as an adjustable anchor point on the line. It travels up with the user while climbing and has to be released by hand to descend. The rope itself is 20m of 11mm kernmantle construction in 100% polyester, so the load bearing core sits inside a protective outer sheath. Suited to fall prevention and rescue work on site.
