About this product
The Mongoose Recovery Kit is a complete vehicle recovery set built around a 30t, 6m strop and two 30t soft shackles, supplied in a bag. It suits light vehicle work where you need a straight pull on a bogged ute or truck without hunting around for the right connection point. The soft shackles hook straight onto rated shackles, D-rings or dolly pins, so there is no steel flying about if something lets go.
At 6.8kg the whole kit stows in a toolbox, an undercarriage or trailer compartment, or behind the seat in a smaller 4WD. The 6m length gives you room to work on new road construction jobs and in remote country with water, environmental or rubbish removal trucks. Match the pull to the conditions. The 30t break force covers a gross vehicle weight of 30t from a medium bogged position in mud, and 20t when a vehicle is heavily entrenched.
