About this product
The Donaghys 12 Strand UHMwPE Soft Shackles 350t is the heaviest end of the range, a hand knotted fibre shackle that takes the place of a steel bow or screw pin shackle on big connections. Break load is 386.1t, with an open length of 2.5m and a finished diameter of 138mm. At 26kg it is still a fraction of the weight of steel at the same capacity, so two hands and no tools will get it on.
Made from 12 strand UHMwPE winchline, the body will not rust or corrode and stays soft against paintwork, decking and slings. If it does let go, there is no shattering or flying steel. It suits connecting strops and slings to vehicles, and was developed alongside the Donaghys Mongoose Recovery Strop range. This one comes covered, which helps it last in rough conditions.
