About this product
The Inertia Reel Arresto Cable Swivel Mount HD Hook is a fall arrest block for workers tied off overhead, rated to 140kg with 20m of 4.5mm galvanised wire cable. The cable has a 15.3kN breaking strength and runs out and retracts as the user moves, locking on if they fall. A swivel anchorage lets the unit track the work rather than fight the lifeline, and a fall indicator shows straight away if the reel has taken a load.
The housing is a plastic casing built to cop knocks on site. At the working end is an ANSI compliant swivel snap hook with 16kN gate strength and a 20mm gate opening. It meets EN 360, and under Clause 1.6 of AS/NZS1891.3 "Fall Arrest Devices complying with EN353-1, EN353-2 or EN360 are acceptable for use in Australia and New Zealand". Not suitable where a fall over an edge is possible, or where connection is at foot level.
