About this product
The Inertia Reel Arresto Cable Swivel Mount HD Hook is a fall arrest block that lets a worker move freely on 15m of cable, then locks off if they fall. The 4.5mm galvanised wire cable has a 15.3kN breaking strength, and the reel is rated to 140kg. The swivel anchorage takes the twist out of the line and carries a fall indicator, so you can see at a glance whether the unit has taken a load and needs to come out of service.
The ANSI compliant swivel snap hook has a 16kN gate strength and a 20mm gate opening, which suits most harness D-rings and anchor points. The plastic casing keeps the weight down on site. This reel meets EN 360, and under Clause 1.6 of AS/NZS1891.3 "Fall Arrest Devices complying with EN353-1, EN353-2 or EN360 are acceptable for use in Australia and New Zealand". It is not suitable where a fall over an edge is possible or where connection is at foot level.
