About this product
The Retrieval Block Arresto Cable Swivel Mount HD Hook is a fall arrest block with a built in hoisting winch, so a worker who has fallen can be wound up or lowered without waiting on a second rescue setup. A side locking pin at the base of the handle switches it between fall arrest and winch modes, and the two systems run independently. Rated to 140kG with 20m of travel, it mounts straight onto a tripod for confined space entry, tank work and shaft access.
Inside is 4.5mm galvanised wire cable with 15.3kN breaking strength, running through a plastic casing with a carry handle for moving between jobs. The swivel anchorage carries a fall indicator, and the ANSI compliant swivel snap hook has a 20mm gate opening and 16Kn gate strength. It meets EN 360 and EN1496 Class B. Clause 1.6 of AS/NZS1891.3 states that fall arrest devices complying with EN353-1, EN353-2 or EN360 are acceptable for use in Australia and New Zealand.
