The Bolle Universal Safety Goggles Vented x Platinum Welding 5 x Grey is a full-seal goggle with a shade 5 welding lens, made for gas welding, brazing and cutting work where you need eye protection from glare and flying debris at the same time. The vented grey frame lets air move through to cut down fogging on hot jobs. Lens is polycarbonate with Bolle's Platinum coating, and the whole unit weighs 109g.
Wave technology shapes the seal to the face, closing gaps without digging in over a long shift. The frame is co-injected PC/TPR with an overflow chute, and the strap is polyester and spandex. The pivoting faceguard fixes on easily, and the goggle pulls apart quickly when parts need separating for recycling. Certified to AS/NZS 1337.1:2010.
