About this product
The Bolle Safety Komet Safety Glasses in smoke are a wrap-around spec for general industry work where glare and bright light are the problem. The smoke lens carries both an anti-scratch and an anti-fog treatment, so it holds up to dusty sites and handles the temperature swings that fog up a plain lens. It also blocks 99.99% of UVA and UVB. Certified to AS/NZS 1337.1:2010.
The frame is one size fits all, with a unisex shape and thin temple arms that sit comfortably under earmuffs or a helmet. The ultra wrap-around design keeps grit out from the sides without pinching. There are no metal parts anywhere in the build. If you want glare cut further again, the polarised version of the Komet covers that, and there is a red flash lens in the range too.
Common questions
- are the Bolle Komet smoke glasses anti-fog?
- Yes, the smoke lens is treated for both anti-fog and anti-scratch, which is what sets it apart from the other lenses in the Komet range.
- what standard do Bolle Komet safety glasses meet?
- They are certified to AS/NZS 1337.1:2010.
- smoke or polarised Komet, which should I get?
- Both give 99.99% UVA and UVB protection. Go polarised if glare off water, glass or sheet metal is the main issue, or smoke if you also want the anti-fog treatment.
