The Shock Absorbing Lanyard B-Safe Rope Twin 2M Steel Snap Hook & Scaffold Hook is a personal fall arrest device for one worker moving between anchor points at height. Two legs mean you stay connected while you transfer, with a 2m length and 11mm heavy duty kernmantle rope on each leg. The absorber limits the force generated in a fall to under 6kN, and the lanyard is rated for users from 50kg to 140kg.
End fittings are steel, a snap hook on one side and a scaffold hook for grabbing tube and larger structural members, both with ANSI 16kN gate strength. Safe working load is one person, and it needs to be used with an approved full body harness. It is an AS 1891.5:2020 certified product, batch tested and visually inspected, made under an ISO 9001 Quality Control System, with raw materials conforming to relevant standards.
