About this product
The B-Safe Rope 2M Shock Absorbing Lanyard with steel snap hooks is a personal fall arrest device for one person, rated to suit users from 50kg to 140kg. The shock pack limits the force generated in a fall to under 6kN, so the load your body takes is kept within survivable limits. It runs 2m of heavy duty 11mm kernmantle rope, with steel snap hooks at each end carrying ANSI 16kN gate strength.
Connect it to an approved full body harness and a suitable anchor point before you work at height. The lanyard is an AS 1891.5:2020 certified product, batch tested and visually inspected, and made under an ISO 9001 Quality Control System. Steel hooks handle the knocks that come with site and mine work, while the rope keeps the whole assembly light on the harness. Check the shock pack and rope for damage before every use.
