The Shock Absorbing Lanyard Hot Works 2M Web Steel Snap Hook & Scaffold Hook 50KG-140KG is a single person fall arrest lanyard built for work near heat, sparks and slag. The 2m Heracron meta aramid webbing and Kevlar energy pack cover handle welding and oxy cutting jobs where standard polyester lanyards would not last. Rated for users from 50kg to 140kg, one person only.
The energy absorber is designed to keep fall forces under 6kN. Terminations are heavy duty steel, a snap hook at one end and a scaffold hook at the other, both with ANSI 16kN gate strength. It stays light on the harness despite the steel. Run it with an approved full body harness. This is an AS 1891.5:2020 certified product, batch tested and visually inspected, made under an ISO 9001 Quality Control System.
