The Shock Absorbing Lanyard B-Safe Web 2M Steel Snap Hooks is a personal fall arrest lanyard that takes the sting out of a fall by limiting the force generated to under 6kN. It runs 2m long in polyester webbing, with heavy duty double actioned steel snap hooks at each end carrying an ANSI 16kN gate strength. Safe working load is one person, and it is rated for users from 50kg to 140kg.
Connect it to an approved full body harness and a suitable anchor point. The webbing keeps the weight down for blokes working off ladders, scaffold and steel all day, and the steel hooks handle site knocks without fuss. It is an AS 1891.5:2020 certified product, batch tested and visually inspected, made under an ISO 9001 Quality Control System with raw materials conforming to relevant standards.
