About this product
The Temporary Rope Static Line Kit B-Safe 20M Rated for 2 people is a portable horizontal safety line for crews working at heights where a permanent anchor system is not worth installing. It gives freedom of movement along a 20 metre span and is designed for a maximum of two persons at once. Install it above head height, clip on a retracting lanyard and full body harness, and you have fall arrest protection on a construction, building or mine site.
Setup runs about 3 to 5 minutes with no special tools needed to rig or tension the line. The kit uses 16mm superbraid polyester rope with a tensioner and tension indicator, 25 metres of rope in total, two sewn 1.2 metre 2200kg slings for the anchor ends, four steel karabiners including two 10mm, and a large gear bag. All up it weighs 6.5kg. Every kit gets a 100% visual and working inspection, and individual components are batch tested to destruction.
