The Beaver Brake Hand Winches BHW1800 is a hand cranked winch for pulling and lifting work where you don't have power on hand. The positive load actuated brake holds the load in any position, so you can stop mid lift, reset your feet and keep going without the load creeping back on you. Heat-treated gears and high precision construction keep gear noise down and the action smooth under load.
Mechanical components are enclosed, which keeps grit out and hands clear of the moving parts. It stays light enough to carry to the job, and the handle is strong and removable if you want to stow the winch or stop it being cranked by mistake.
