The B-Safe Trauma Strap gives a worker something to stand in if they end up suspended in a harness after a fall. It comes as two zip up pouches, one for each side of the harness, with high tenacity webbing straps inside, a loop in one pouch and a hook in the other. Clip the two together under your boots, take the weight off your legs, and you buy time before the onset of suspension trauma.
Installation is quick and it fits almost any harness. The straps are fully adjustable with multi sizing loop keepers, high strength hooks, and the pouches zip shut so nothing snags while you work. These straps are only to be used with a full body harness. Refer to AS/NZS 1891.4 for guidance on fall prevention systems and correct equipment selection, and B-Safe recommends Australian Resuscitation Council guideline 9.1.5 (as amended) for managing the symptoms.
