About this product
The Glove Ansell Chemical AlphaTec 53 003 Extreme Chem Virus Heat Black in size 9 is a chemical gauntlet for handling aggressive liquids where splash contact is likely. Size 9 suits a standard large hand, so it is the one most crews reach for first. The multi layered neoprene and laminate film uses MICROCHEM barrier technology, hitting class 6 resistance for most chemicals under EN 374:2016 with performance backed by ASTM F739.
The raised diamond grip on the black surface helps you keep hold of drums, valves and wet tooling. Mechanical protection is rated EN 388:2016 2121X, with chemical permeation marked EN ISO 374-1:2016 Type A ABCEFGHIJKLMNOPST and viral penetration to EN ISO 374-5:2016 VIRUS. It also carries EN 407 X1XXXX for contact heat up to 100°C/212°F, plus EN 421 and anti-static performance to EN 1149-3.
