About this product
The Glove Ansell Chemical AlphaTec 53 003 Extreme Chem Virus Heat Black in size 8 is a chemical gauntlet for handling aggressive liquids where splash contact is likely. Size 8 suits a medium hand, so it is the pick for crews who need close control on valves, couplings and sample points without the cuff bunching. The multi-layer neoprene and laminate film construction uses MICROCHEM barrier technology, rated class 6 against most chemicals under EN 374:2016 and tested to ASTM F739.
Marked EN ISO 374-1:2016 Type A ABCEFGHIJKLMNOPST and EN ISO 374-5:2016 VIRUS, with EN 388:2016 2121X for abrasion and mechanical wear. Contact heat is covered to EN 407 X1XXXX, approved up to 100C/212F, and anti-static performance meets EN 1149-3. It also carries EN 421. The raised diamond grip on the palm holds onto wet and oily gear, and the black finish hides staining on site.
