The Glove Ansell Chemical AlphaTec 53 002 Extreme NeoDiamond Grip Black x Size 9 is a chemical gauntlet for handling aggressive liquids where splash and immersion risk is real. Size 9 suits a larger hand, so if the size 8 feels tight across the palm this is the next step up. The build is multi layered neoprene and laminate film over a nylon liner, in black, with a raised diamond grip moulded into the surface for hold on wet or oily gear.
MICROCHEM multi-layer barrier technology does the heavy lifting on chemical protection, with class 6 resistance for most chemicals under EN 374:2016 and performance measured under ASTM F739. Markings are EN 388:2016 1111X, EN ISO 374-1:2016 Type A ABCEFGHIJKLMNOPST, EN ISO 374-5:2016 VIRUS, EN 421 and EN 1149-3, the last covering anti-static. A dedicated donning and doffing layer makes them easier to get on and off with sweaty hands.
