About this product
The Ansell ActivArmr 43-217 Welder Gloves in size 9 are goatskin gauntlet gloves for welding work where you still need to feel what you are doing. Size 9 suits the average adult hand, so it is the one most blokes reach for before sizing up. The goatskin leather stays supple, which means good tactility and dexterity when you are setting up a joint or handling rods and small fittings.
Protection covers heat, flames, sparks and weld spatter, with a gauntlet length of 340-360mm to keep the forearm covered while you are leaning into a weld. Rated EN12477 Type B, EN 407 41XX4X and ANSI A1 Cut. Beyond the welding bay they hold up well in machinery and equipment work and automotive jobs. Grey and yellow colouring makes them easy to pick out of a shared kit.
