About this product
The Ansell AlphaTec Solvex 37-185 Chemical Resistant Glove in size 8 is a green nitrile gauntlet glove for wet, oily and chemical work where you need cover past the wrist. Size 8 is the mid-range fit, so it suits most average adult hands without the bunching you get from sizing up. At 457mm it reaches the top of the elbow, and the 22mm thickness gives you resistance to snags, punctures and abrasion while still leaving room to feel what you are doing.
The nitrile will not swell, weaken or degrade in service, and it is both latex free and silicone free, so there is no issue with contact dermatitis. A sandpatch grip design on the palm holds onto slippery gear. Common jobs include heavy-duty cleaning, metal fabrication, oil and gas, chemical handling and food processing. Rated ANSI 4 ABR, CE 0493, Category III, EN388:2016:4102X and EN374:2016:AGJKLPT, and REACH Compliant.
