About this product
The Ansell AlphaTec Solvex 37-145 Chemical Resistant Gloves in Size 8 are a green nitrile gauntlet for handling solvents, fuels and chemicals without losing your grip. Size 8 suits a medium hand, so it is the pick for operators who find larger sizes bunch up at the fingertips and cost them feel on valves and fittings. The 330mm length covers the wrist and forearm, and the 11mm thickness gives you a solid barrier against splash and soaking.
Nitrile holds up where rubber or neoprene gives out. It resists snags, punctures and abrasion, will not swell or weaken in service, and does not promote contact dermatitis. The sandpatch finish keeps grip in wet or dry work. Antistatic, and rated CE III, ANSI ABR 4, EN388:2016:3001X and EN374:2016:JKNOPT, plus REACH Compliant. Common on automotive, machinery and chemical jobs.
Common questions
- what size hand does the Solvex 37-145 size 8 fit
- Size 8 is the medium option in the range. If a size 9 or 10 leaves slack at the fingertips, go with the 8 for better feel.
- how long are Ansell Solvex 37-145 gloves
- They are 330mm long in a gauntlet cuff style, which takes the cover past the wrist and up the forearm.
- are Solvex 37-145 gloves better than rubber or neoprene
- The nitrile construction gives better snag, puncture and abrasion protection than rubber or neoprene, and it will not swell, weaken or degrade in use.
