The Ansell AlphaTec 36cm PVA Chemical Resistant Gloves in red, size 9, are built for handling strong organic solvents where most gloves give up. Size 9 suits a standard to larger hand, and the 36cm length carries protection well up the forearm. The polyvinylalcohol coating stays virtually inert in aromatic and chlorinated solvents, and the glove is anti-static.
Inside is a soft two-piece knitted interlock cotton liner that cushions the hand and soaks up sweat. Pre-curved fingers and a winged thumb follow the natural shape of the hand, so gripping and manipulating parts takes less effort over a long shift. Common work includes chemical processing and preparation, printing and electronics manufacture. One warning worth repeating: do not use these gloves in water or water-based solutions. Tested to EN 388:2003 and EN1149.
