The Ansell Hyflex ESD Gloves with Nitrile Fortix Palm in Size 6 are a light handling glove for work where static discharge could damage what you are touching. Size 6 is the smallest in the range, so it suits smaller hands that get lost in a standard fit, which matters when you are handling small components. The liner is an 18 gauge nylon and spandex knit with carbon, palm-dipped in Fortix foam nitrile in blue.
ESD functionality is certified to EN 16350:2014, and as part of a grounding chain these can be worn in explosion hazard zones. Ratings are EN388 2016: 3121A and EN 420:2003 + A1:2009. The coating is thin enough to keep bare hand feel for circuitry, inspection and quality tasks, and the fingertips work on touchscreens. Silicone free, antistatic, and dermatologically approved by Dermatest.
These are anti-static gloves, not insulating gloves. They give no protection against electric shock and are not for live electrical work. For that, use a rated insulating glove such as the ActivArmr Class 00 or Class 0.
