About this product
The Beaver G80 Weld-On Safety Excavator Hook 10t is a weld-on hook for excavator bucket lifting points, spreader beam attachments and fixed tie down points. At 10t working load limit, it is the heavy end of the range, suited to bigger machines and lifts where the smaller sizes run out of capacity. The hook measures 223mm overall (L1) with a 154mm L2, a 51mm gate opening and 53mm width, and weighs roughly 5.17kg.
Made from heat treated alloy steel, so you get the strength of Grade 80 without a lot of extra mass hanging off the bucket. The safety latch allows axial loading and locks positively once the load is on. Beaver marks its Grade 80 hooks for easy identification on site, and quality testing is carried out through manufacture. Complies to AS 3776. Weld it on properly by a competent welder before it sees any load.
