The Beaver G80 Weld-On Safety Excavator Hook 5t is a permanent hook you weld onto an excavator bucket lifting point, a spreader beam or a fixed tie down point. At 5t working load limit it sits in the middle of the range, big enough for most bucket lift and anchor work without the bulk of the larger sizes. Weight is around 2.46kg, with a 133mm body, 34mm hook opening and 43.5mm width.

Overall length runs 171mm, with L2 at 118.5mm, so it tucks in reasonably close once welded. The safety latch positively locks and keeps the load tracking axially through the hook. Made from heat treated alloy steel, Grade 80, and complies to AS 3776. Beaver Grade 80 components carry identification marks, so you can confirm what is on the machine during your pre-use check. Get the weld done properly by a competent welder before the hook sees any load.
