The Beaver G80 Eye Swivel Self Locking Hook 16mm is the top end of the range, a self locking chain hook rated to an 8t working load limit for heavy chain sling work. It suits 16mm Grade 80 chain and gives you a positive locking latch, so the load stays put once the hook is seated. The eye swivels for positioning, but do not swivel it under load.

Made from heat treated alloy steel, with a 335mm overall length, 53mm throat opening and a 23mm eye diameter. The 60mm width and 67mm dimension across the body give it the bulk you would expect at this rating, and it comes in around 7.75kg, so it is a two hand job on the hook up. Quality testing is carried out through manufacturing, and Beaver components carry identification marks so you can check what is on the end of your sling.
