About this product
The Beaver G80 Clevis Self Locking Hook 16mm is the top end of the range, a self locking end fitting for 16mm Grade 80 chain with an 8t working load limit. The clevis pins straight onto the chain without a connecting link, so the assembly stays short and there is one less component to check. Self locking means the latch stays shut under load and only opens when you deliberately release it, which keeps the sling on the hook when the load settles or swings.
Built from heat treated alloy steel and quality tested through manufacture, with identification marks stamped on the body. At 215mm overall length, 173mm across the b dimension, a 20mm pin and 53mm throat opening, it suits heavy lifting work on crane and mine site chain assemblies. Around 6kg, so expect some weight in the hand compared with the smaller sizes.
